Turing House School

Turing House is a new 1050 pupil secondary school delivered through the Department for Education Free Schools Framework. The project delivered a three-storey teaching block, sports hall and outdoor multi-use games pitch.

OCC were selected as the trusted partner to deliver an integrated groundworks solution for the project, from enabling works through to the final touches on the external works.

Our works included:

• Earthworks to get the site to formation levels
• Enabling works including service diversions and drainage connections
• Foul and surface water drainage throughout the scheme including a new foul pumping station and attenuation tank
• Foundations in the form of RC pile caps and lift pits
• Ground-bearing ground floor slab
• Multi-use-games pitch
• External works including paving and tarmac throughout the scheme, cycle shelters and a new car park
